Guidelines and regulations of the Sudanese Cultural Center – Qatar
Keen to present the best image and to represent the Sudanese people with honour, we ask everyone to observe the following rules:
I. Discipline and conduct
- Observe public decorum and respect all visitors, staff, and volunteers.
- Any conduct that disrupts order or causes disturbance inside the center’s facilities is prohibited.
- Fully follow the directions of center management and activity organisers.
- External loudspeakers are strictly prohibited without a permit.
- Parking is limited strictly to the spaces designated for that purpose.
- The cultural center doors close at eleven o’clock at night.
II. Use of facilities
- Fully protect the center’s property and equipment, and do not damage them.
- Use halls and equipment only for their designated purposes.
- Food and drinks may not be brought into the halls except with prior written permission from management.
- Halls must be vacated at the time set for the end of the event.
III. Administrative and financial matters
- Commercial or promotional advertisements, and fundraising inside the center, are strictly prohibited except with official written approval.
- Event organisers bear full financial and legal responsibility for any damage to the center’s facilities.
IV. Activities and events
- Keep to the nature of the activity and do not depart from its cultural and knowledge objectives.
- No activity or event may be held without official written approval from management.
- Using the center’s activities for political or partisan purposes is strictly prohibited.
- Respect intellectual property rights in all presentations and materials.
V. Safety and security
- Fully follow public-safety instructions and emergency guidance.
- Hazardous, flammable, or legally prohibited materials may not be brought in.
- Report any emergency or suspicious conduct to center management immediately.
VI. Photography and documentation
- The center may document and photograph events and activities for its archive and official channels.
- Personal photography or commercial recording of events is prohibited except with prior permission.
VII. Penalties and measures
- Center management has full authority to take all regulatory measures when the rules are breached, including a warning or a temporary or permanent ban on entering the center.
