Sudanese Cultural Center guidelines (Qatar)
These guidelines apply to all visitors, staff, volunteers, and participants in center activities. Management may update them as needed to serve the public interest and the center’s objectives.
I. General principles
- The center operates in accordance with the laws and regulations of the State of Qatar.
- The center promotes Sudanese identity and culture and upholds respect, tolerance, and coexistence.
- All participants must respect rules and instructions issued by center management.
- Using center facilities for unauthorized personal, commercial, or political purposes is prohibited.
II. Participation in activities
- Participation is open to members of the Sudanese community and those interested in Sudanese culture, subject to approved rules.
- Observe scheduled event and programme times.
- Protect center property and facilities.
- Maintain public decorum and civilized conduct during events.
- Do not publish or share offensive material or content that violates community values.
III. Use of facilities
- Halls and facilities are used for approved cultural, educational, and social purposes.
- Activities must be booked in advance through approved procedures.
- Event organisers are responsible for protecting halls and equipment during use.
- No modifications or additions to facilities without management approval.
IV. Volunteering
- The center encourages volunteering and community service.
- Volunteers must fulfil assigned duties under applicable regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of center information and data.
- Represent the center in a manner that reflects its values and mission.
V. Media & publishing
- All center media materials and publications require management approval.
- Using the center’s name or logo without official permission is prohibited.
- Respect intellectual property rights when publishing or distributing material.
VI. Safety & responsibility
- Follow security and safety procedures during events.
- Cooperate with competent authorities in emergencies.
- Maintain cleanliness and care for the environment inside center facilities.
